Finally, she gives you «The Source Revealed» (https://classic.wowhead.com/?npc=16003 ), where you’re asked to find Apothecary Staffron Lerent (https://classic.wowhead.com/?npc=16007 ). Lerent is located near Ravenhold Manor, which is in Hillsbrad. Once you’re in the manor, head past the farm, (past the wall) up the hill, and down it, procede northeast until you see him.
Turn in the quest, and MAKE SURE to click the cauldron nearby. The quest giver makes no indication of this, and this is how you get the reward. The cauldron gives a quest «A Bubbling Cauldron» (https://classic.wowhead.com/?npc=16008 ), and you get your choice of one of six vanity chest pieces, between red, blue, and purple «Lovely Dress» and the same colors for «Dinner Suit».
The final part of this is identical for both factions, so other then the running around (I believe the quest has you running around Stormwind to much the same effect as Horde do in UC) you finish at the same spot. There typically seems to be people ganking due to the likelyhood of others showing up to get their reward, so watch out if you’re on a PvP server, particularly since the cauldron isn’t terribly obvious.
The «Lovely Black Dress» (https://classic.wowhead.com/?npc=16004 ) isn’t rewarded through this but is instead a rare gift given when turning in Love Tokens.

You get the dress after completing a quest that starts in one of the capital cities. For the alliance, it’s a NPC right in front of the bank in Stormwind, the horde I believe is somewhere in the Undercity. I am an alliance, so this is what I remember from doing the quest in Stormwind.Basically, the quest starts off with them asking you to get a guard card from a guard, which you must get from an amorous guard like the other items. Upon doing so, you’re sent to gather up perfume/collagne and talk to NPC’s in the town, to figure out the source of it.
In the end, you travel out to Hillsbrad to a secluded area where an undead NPC is at a cauldron, an event happens and then you loot the cauldron. From there, you can get only one of the following:
Lovely Blue Dress
Lovely Red Dress
Lovely Purple Dress
Blue Dinner Suit
Purple Dinner Suit
All of these items are Bind on Pickup, so you can only have one.

Okay, this took me a long time to find, so I’ll try to describe what I discovered as best I can.On the eastern side of the river in the Northern Hillsbrad Foothills, there is a path leading to Ravenholdt Manor. The coords for it are 75,23.
Follow the path through the tunnel, and then head to the right of the manor. There is a path that starts at 82,22.
Follow this (keep turning left, you will pass a dead tree,) to the undead NPC, who is at the coords 87, 14. I hope this helps a little bit, I know it was more coords than descriptions, but everything there looks the same to me. 😡

I LOVE this dress on a Female Draenei! Red blends in with my normal Blue skinned Draenei quite well. I even like the pic where the Draenei has a red linen shirt and the colorful kilt to make herself less exposed. Very Nice!Draenei FTW!

The Lovely Black Dress is a rare item in the Gifts of Adoration. As it is also seasonal and has no Soulbinding properties, it can be sold on the AH even after wearing. I have seen reports that it has gone for as much as 1000+ gold on some servers sometimes.As with all auction housing, your mileage may vary. 😉
Also, since you can only attempt to get one of these per hour, per character, you cannot really farm this item without swapping characters. Get all your characters into one of the old world major cities (I do not know if the Exodar or Silvermoon have this event, but Shattrath definately doesn’t), and buy some perfume or cologne and a stack of Love Tokens. Each hour, cycle through all your characters and get one Gift of Adoration each, then pray and open. 😉
In cities with a much larger population of one gender of guard than another, select the appropriate fragrance. Female guards (like in Darnassus) like cologne. Male guards (like Ironforge) like perfume. Your character’s gender doesn’t matter.
If you want to hardcore farm, you can keep creating level 1 alts to run to the nearest city and woo an NPC. It may well be easier to take 10 existing characters and rotate that way.
There are three other color versions of this dress. You can select one of them after completing a seasonal quest. Those dresses are Bind on Pickup, so they are less interesting for those individuals attempting to make a profit from this holiday. 😉

I wanted this quite badly last year and set forth to purchase one until I heard the asking price was 200g. I set up an army of alts in anticipation of this year and have it down to a 12 hour cycle (the debuff may wear off sooner when logged off, but 12 hours is safe and easy to work around when dealing with work and sleep).I have 2 now after 30 or 40 of the adoration gifts and I’m not sure if it’s just dumb luck or if the rate isn’t quite as bad as some would have you believe. Regardless, I’m happy to have it and even though I have 2 and could make an easy couple hundred off selling the extra, I really have no inclination to do so. I *love* this dress 😉

Ok, the LBD, as we call it, has certainly been a rare fish. i didn’t realize how lucky I was last year, when all but 1 of my female characters Hordeside would up with one. This year, I wanted one for my Alliance Druidess — as my 1st chara, and my main, on an RP server — she’s earned it, i think.Research now, from here, Allak, etc., lets me know I was VERY lucky to have snagged 2 dresses last year, getting them from only ‘normal’ running around.
Alliance side, the best known rate came from the Alliance Brigadier General — A NPC THAT NO LONGER EXISTS IN GAME. Forget trying him — he’s gone.
I’ve now started trying the other sources listed, as well as some highly speculative guesses about who DOES have it, based upon what I’ve observed in the last couple of years.
After the event has finished, I’ll let you know how i fared. I’d like to get 1 for Darq here, but she is eligible for the quest reward Lovely Dress. IF YOU ARE 60+ YOU’RE BETTER OFF DOING THE QUEST!
If i do wind up with any ‘extra’ dresses, I’ll post in my server thread, and let the best stories get them as prizes (as fitting for an RP server).

Oh! Almost forgot to mention — Hordeside, i snagged up 2 more LBDes already, now having 1 for each of my Horde females. Currently, on our server AHs, they are going for 20-70g Hordeside, 100g+ Alliance, and I didn’t get a chance to check the neutral AHs to see.

You do not have to be level 60+ to do the quest for the lovely (blue, red, purple) dress. I did it this year at level 10. I’m not sure what the minimum level is.Комментарий от Thottbot
Ok some people still seem confused about how easy it is get this. You don�t need to worry about cooldowns…This is how I farmed it:

I have 2 accounts so its slightly easier than if you have only 1, but it can still be done and I will explain how to do it with one account also.
Create a new character (human), run them from Northshire Abbey to Stormwind. This new character needs 1silver and 10 copper to be able to do the quest and receive a pledge package.
You can achieve this in a number of ways. I sat a character from my other account in sw and just passed the money each time. With one account you could do it with mail (sending cash is instant).
Your new character needs to buy the following from the inn keeper:
Perfume = 1silver
Cards = 10 copper (for stack of 10)
Go outside the inn and speak to the guy standing near the fountain in front of the Stormwind bank. Get the quest from him. Apply perfume to yourself (right click it in your bag).
Now go find a male guard with a heart above his head. Right click the guard and hand in the quest.
You get a Pledge Reward (this is what can contain the lovely black dress).
Open the reward package and if you got the dress, great you are done.
Else, logout, delete the new character, create it again (same name is fine), then do the whole thing over again.
As I said above took me less than 5mins to create and complete the quest, and about 20 goes to get the dress.
NB: You can also get the lovely black dress from Gift Packages: These are the packages you get at the very end of the quest chain to collect items from all the guards. It would take you ages just to run one character through that whole quest, so just forget about those and concentrate on these.

Мой ТОП-12 самых откровенных нарядов в WoW
Сегодня, когда трансмогрификация уже никого не удивляет, она превратилась в своего рода рутину. Но почему-то все склоняются к тому, чтобы создавать наряд пафосный и эпический. А ведь разработчики специально сделали женские модельки персонажей такими привлекательными, чтобы на них можно было надевать красивые наряды. В этом посте я собрал самые интересные и привлекательные на мой взгляд примеры одежды для трансмогрификации или просто для ношения в городах.
Конечно, многие из этих моделей уже известны, но я попытаюсь.
1. Классика жанра – тканевый Набор из черной магической ткани.
2. Латный набор из Кровавой чешуи.
3. Еще одни латы – Тяжелого кулака. Типичный пример бронелифчика – все важные участки тела открыты и легкодоступны для зубов, когтей и прочих режуще-колющих предметов.
4. Латный ториевый набор. Особенно симпатичные штанцы.
5. Тканевый туземный комплект вместе с обрывками и лохмотьями.
6. Очень классные Величавые латы.
7. Кожаные Штаны боевого медведя и Мундир ночного стража входят в два разных набора по мнению WoWHead, однако мне они больше нравятся вместе:
8. Наряд Вайтмейн – почему-то не нашел его в базе WoWHead, а ведь Госпожа Вайтмейн (да так, с большой буквы) один из популярнейших женских персонажей в фан-арте по WoW. Ну, не том, что попадает на главную страницу Battle.Net, конечно. Шляпка Вайтмейн + Багровые шелковые наплечники + Красный жилет из магической ткани + Штаны из пепельной ткани + Гербовая накидка Хоцзинь. Альянсу нужно что-то придумать с красной накидкой =) Ссылка на собраный набор – тыц.
9. Тканевый лазурный набор – однако я рекомендую отключать шлем, колпак – это здорово, но глаз он радует не так, как откровенная синяя блузка =)
Вообще, у тряпочников уйма симпатичных и откровенных нарядов. Многие из них почему-то не внесены в базу Вовхеда для трансмогрификации, а ведь выглядят они куда лучше современных роб и платьев.
10. Одеяния защиты в бою и Одеяния святого стража. Моделька одинаковая, разный только цвет. У Одежд ползучих песков тоже такая моделька, а цвет розовый – очень неплохо. Помню, выбил в классике такие одежды своему Отрекшемуся-магу, на мужских персонажах смешно смотрится, зато характеристик добавляло неплохо =)
11. Что-то у нас с кольчужными доспехами глухо? Если честно, не смог придумать ничего подходящего к Поножам стихий каменного гребня, поэтому пусть будут штаны сами по себе. Вообще, как-то у Близзард странно – море латных и тканевых бронелифчиков и бронетрусиков, а вот кожу и кольчугу обделили =)
Да, я понимаю, что ТОП получился несколько субъективным. Однако лично мне нравится видеть персонажей вот в таких вот прикольных нарядах, нежели в украшенных драгоценными камнями и прочими черепами эпиках. Теоретически у мужских персонажей тоже должно быть что-то привлекательное в броне, но этим вопросом пусть занимаются девушки =) Быть может кто-то из читательниц блога решится составить свой топ-чарт? На всякий случай напомню, что вы можете сами найти свой идеальный сет и затрансмогрифицировать персонажа до смерти.
12. И на сладкое – доступный только Орде, уникальный, встроенный nude-мод: Невидимый жилет Сандрин.

В новогоднюю ночь хочется выглядеть превосходно, поэтому многие отправляются на поиски идеального платья.
Для волшебной ночи красное платье — превосходный выбор.
Во-первых, этот пылающий оттенок символизирует год огненного петуха.

С какими туфлями надеть красное платье?
Красная обувь
Не самое простое — как может казаться — носить красное платье с красной обувью. Да, они совпадают по цвету, но необходимо подобрать нужный оттенок обуви. Важно убедиться, что оттенок красного не светлее и не темнее, чем сама одежда. Неправильный цвет будет делать наряд странным и не цельным. Красные башмачки создают приятный визуальный эффект.
Обувь серого цвета
Приглушить светло-красное/алое платье поможет обувь нейтральных оттенков. К таким относится серый цвета. Например, графитовые замшевые туфли сами по себе могут смотреться достаточно неприметно, но в сочетании с красным платьем эта обувь вмиг преображается – две вещи идеально дополняют друг друга.
Серебристая и золотая обувь
На платье присутствует декор из серебра или золота? Пара туфелек «под металл» подчеркнут ваш вечерний наряд, добавив в него роскоши, шика, нотку самоуверенности. Если же на платье нет соответствующего декора, то выберите аксессуары из золота или серебра.
Бежевая обувь к красному наряду
Бежевый — цвет благородный, он гармонирует практически со всеми цветами. Можно сказать, что это лучший «напарник» для платья ярких красных тонов. Этот нейтральный цвет нивелирует сочность красного, при этом не «перетягивая» на себя основного внимания, как обувь других цветов. Особенно выгодно смотрятся такие туфли в сочетании со сложным кроем одежды.
Чёрная обувь к красному платью
Самый распространенный вариант, но, к сожалению, не самый нарядный. Черная обувь под вечернее красное платье должна быть лаконичной, чтобы не выглядеть массивной и грубой. Это могут быть босоножки или туфли на высоком каблуке. С коктейльным платьем хороша обувь как с декором, так и без него. Главное — не переборщить с аксессуарами, чтобы не придать мрачности образу от излишка черного цвета.
